Champagne

The Ultimate Celebration

In the northeastern corner of France lies the renowned Champagne region, home to the world’s most famous sparkling wine. Known for its bubbly elegance and association with luxury celebrations, Champagne produces wines that are complex, fresh, and endlessly refined. With a history steeped in royalty, Champagne continues to be the symbol of achievement, joy, and sophistication.

Grapes & Wine Styles

Champagne is a blend of three primary grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay. The region’s climate and soil are perfect for creating wines with a refreshing acidity and complex, yeasty flavors. Champagne is most famous for its method traditionnelle, where the wine undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle, creating its signature bubbles.

  • Blanc de Blancs: Made exclusively from Chardonnay, this style is delicate, fresh, and often has notes of citrus, green apple, and brioche

  • Blanc de Noirs: Made from Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, these wines are more structured, with red fruit and nutty flavors.

  • Rosé Champagne: A luxurious and festive style, made by blending red wine with white, giving it a light pink hue and red fruit flavors
